Keep having issues with my main windows drive (110gb) being filled up (currently 6gb spare).
Using treesize I see that AppData\Local\Downloaded Installations is 29gb which is over a quarter of the drive.
Is this a bunch of windows bloat that is safe to delete?

Solution
But yes, you can delete thos.

What I would do is copy them to some other drive.
Remove from the C.

If nothing bad happens after a few days, then delete from the other drive.
Go through Disk Cleanup first.

Not just "delete".

And this is one of the many reasons why a 120GB drive has become TooSmall.

14mb from disk cleanup wont cut it.

This isnt a windows folder (from research it appears to be from instalshield installers, which checks out viewing the folder creation dates)
Only thing I cant find a 100% clear answer on is wheter the data.msi for every folder inside is relevant to the uninstaltion, or just leftover from the instalation process.

In Disk Cleanup, did you go to the next level of "System Files"?

Been a day since I deleted the contents. Haven’t noticed any adverse effects but I still have a backup saved anyway. Seems that it should stay fine though.
