Safe To Go For An Asus HD 6950 DirectCU II (1GB) With My Cooler Master GX550?

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
RAM: Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3 1600 (Single)
HDD (Internal): WD Green 2TB
HDD (External): Seagate Expansion Desktop 2TB
ODD: LiteOn DVD RW 22X
Case: Cooler Master K380
Monitor: AOC FWS2K 22" 1920X1080 (using the HDMI)

Oh and no OC planned for anything (CPU/RAM/GPU) at the moment

Yes your PSU will handle this graphics card cause the maximum power you'll need is 500 Watt and you're power supply puts out 550 Watt and it has two 75 watt 6-pin power connectors.

Two 6pins? But that GPU requires one 6pin and one 8pin. BTW what do you think of 7790 compared to 6950? I could add another 4GB RAM if I get that instead (I know my power supply can handle it, I'm wondering about its performance in video games, and I can't go for 7850 due to some odd circumtances)
