Safe to reuse 4-5 year old PSU? (OCZGXS600)

I'm looking for opinions on wether I can/should reuse a 5 year old PSU in a new Core i7 system I'm building. The PSU in question is the OCZGXS600. I'm pretty sure the wattage is fine for what I'm building (i7 860, 5850) but I'm concerned about reusing such an old model PSU in a new system. Any opinions on this?

It should be fine, the PSU has the necessary 12V rails and the PCI-e connectors supply a total of 48 As, which should be enough for the 5850.

No problem. That FSP Group psu can handle that configuration.

The PSU should be replaced. Even when brand new, GameXstreams made prior to mid-2007 had bad enough ripple to violate ATX specs. Tack on 5 years of use and by now the ripple could easily be bad enough to overwork the VRMs on your components and send them to an early grave.
