So I have an i5 6600k which I have gotten up to 4.7 GHz at 1.42 volts and my temps are good at under 70 after 15 minutes of AIDA 64 stability test. I wanted to know whether having a high voltage in itself is dangerous, or whether it is the temperature that often accompanies it which is the danger? Also, should I reduce the overclock despite my seemingly safe temperatures? Help is greatly appreciated.
