I recently build my new PC:
- Ryzen 7 2700X
- EVGA RTX 2070 Black
- H100i Pro
- Asus X470 Pro Motherboard

And I've been trying to overclock the 2700X and push it to its limits. I was wondering if 1.5v is safe for a 2700X. I can only hit 4.3GHz on 1.5v. Not 1.45 or even 1.475. 4.3GHz would be a nice overclock that I'd be satisfied with, but I'm not sure if 1.5v is safe for the CPU. Temps don't seem to be a problem, it maxed out at 75C with 1.5v @4.3GHz, but was around 70C for the majority of the benchmark.

Trying to reach that 1900 cb in Cinebench ;)

Thanks for the reply! Disappointing that I had to bump it down to 4.2GHz at 1.4v, but at least I can say that I can hit 4.3GHz in an extreme scenario. Rip the silicon lottery. :(
