Safely Remove Hrdware Icon

Dont know what happened but now I have this little icon (green) in the lower
right corner of my screen next to norton. Cant seem to get rid of it,
something about USB Mass Storage device???? When I check device manager all
seems well. Have tried rebooting, removing mass storage device etc. nothing
works.......Help

It's normal. You use it to safely remove your mass storage device like an
external hard drive. If you left click on it, it will give you the option to
choose "safely remove ...". If you click on that, a bubble will come up and
tell you "now you can safely remove ...". If you remove your external hard
drive, the icon should disapear.

The only things I have attached to the PC........My Printer, mouse, and
Keyboard. I have High Speed Internet (Cox) if that is any hlep. Just started
getting this icon today???

safely remove icon is staying in the system tray. It was
just a thought.
