I chose the parts and case of my pc and had it build by someone else, now they did 0 cable management. I wanna do it myself but I wanted to know if i can just turn power off to my comuter plug out the cables plug them back in and just restart my computer like nothing happened, or am i gonna have to download drivers again, software hdd ssd problems? sorry if it's a dumb question, i'm learning about parts of my computer as i go along and motherboards always eem scary to me. thx

Yes, you can do that, and it won't affect the software in the slightest.

Turn off the PSU, and switch it off at the mains just to be sure. (Arguably worth keeping it plugged in just to keep it earthed.) Be careful when you unplug anything (pull by the plastic connector, not the wire), make sure it plugs back in properly (not loose), don't forget to plug in anything you disconnected, and do your very best not to touch any PCB components directly (in case of electrostatic damage). When you're all done, power back on and your PC should behave exactly as before.
