I go to school full time I am also a full time Fire Fighter. I have an i7 680 rig at home, which is on campus. I need a laptop for classes, at the fire station, friends house, traveling and for when I dont feel just like sitting at home. Cash isnt too much of an issue max 1500ish. I play games movies netflix. Would like a PC that will last maybe 3-5? One that would get me through at least another 2-3 years of school & possibly med school. Want the best bang for the buck, and semi-future proof rig.
I am considering getting a P9130-
i7-3630QM
670mx
8gigs of ram
750 GB HDD W/8 GB SSD
DVD or BLU-RAY, not sure if I need bluray I dont have any and I only have dvd on my desktop.
1920x1080
AND whatever else comes with the rig.
comes to 1100
OR P9150
Everything would be the same except I would get a 7970
comes to 1500
BOTH SAGERS NEED AN OS so add $65 because Im a student
I was also considering a Lenovo Y580

I have seen the Y580 go for 750
Are the sager/ clevo worth it over the lenovo?
In 3 years I can buy another Y580 for 750, or I can put 750 into a new i7 and GPU for the sager. Which is best?
