I'm looking for a new laptop primarily to run AutoCAD (2D only) another criteria is that it be good for Dragon NaturallySpeaking (DPI 15) that I use to control it because of my disability. I'm pretty well set for my specifications which are as follow:
i7-6700 processor
16 GB (possibly 32 GB) RAM
256 GB (possibly 512 GB) SSD as a boot drive
1 TB, 7200 RPM storage drive
17" 1920 x 1080 screen (I run a 2nd 24" monitor)
Video card is not well defined because what I've read even the onboard video for the 6700 processor is well-suited for 2D AutoCAD.
I'm looking for opinions on what brand I should be looking at and also for any suggestions about changes to my configuration.
Thanks,
Mark
