I had a thoroughly enjoyable day at Salute yesterday, apart from being
bowled over on a regular basis by people with backpacks! I think the largest
I saw was about the size of a large suitcase, and the bearer managed to bowl
over a trio of youngsters when he swung around near the bring and buy! Also
interested to see the large number of shopping trolleys and wheeled "air
stewardess" style suitcases (and in one case a milk crate bungee corded to a
cargo trolley) being dragged around the hall. I wonder, do these constitute
a hazard to health? ;-)

Seriously though, another excellent show and 10/10 to the Warlords for
hosting such a good day out!

How long has that show been going on? I attended Salute 79 (IIRC)
when I was stationed at Lakenheath when I was in the Air Force. It
was a lot of fun then, especially for a kid from Colorado who had
never seen a wargaming show before.

David,

totally agree with you, although there was an alarming growth in the
number of non-wargames games for people to participate in.

One question for anyone reading this who attended: I looked at one
stand which had Jacobite rebellion figures in 25mm/28mm in a glass
case but didn't note the manufacturer. Could anyone tell me who it
was?
