Samba disk do not work on wifi repeater

Hello, I have a small problem. I bought a new router (Xiaomi Mi Wifi 3g) as a wifi repeater to extend my wifi network. Before that I had one router RT-N18U where I had a external HDD plugged in. I had been using samba to access it (throw PCs, Mobile devices and TVs) but now, the devices connected on a new router (Xiaomi) cannot access the external drive from the main router (Asus). Is there any way how to share disk over all network devices?

You mention "WiFi repeater", is this how you've setup your old router where the disk is connected?
In Windows Explorer: If you type "\\ip.address.of.old.router", can you see the disk?
