Hello Everyone
I have demoted and removed a domain controller that was
also running DNS. When using NSLOOKUP for the domain
name, the IP address still appears.
In DNS, under the Forward Lookup Zones\Domain, I have the
(same as parent folder)that keeps recreating an A record
for this old IP. I keep deleting it, and it keeps coming
back. This is an AD integrated zone.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks
James

On the "NameServer" tab, remove the old IP from the list of servers. If that
doesn't fix it, you may then need to go through all the sub-zones (the ones
with the "_" thingy) and make sure that you delete any reference to the old
IP in there.
