SAME BRAND and EVERYTHING BUT DIFFERENT MODEL RAM CAN IT WORK?

I have kingston kvr13n9s8/4g I wanted to buy kingston kvr1333d3n9 cause its the only available ram. Will both work? Theyre almost identical , same clock speed 1333mhz, same voltz 1.5 same latency.

Even if identical there is still a small chance they won't run together.

Like blackbird said there is a small chance they won't work together. RAM is very sensitive to timings and different batches of chips will have slightly different results.

That all said I've mixed and matched for years and haven't had a problem yet. So your chances of it working are good, its just really annoying when they don't.

Okay thanks guys I ordered 2 stick just to make sure it works, imma just sell my old stick of ram but im going to try first if it works with the different model of ram just to test it
