Same Problem and I solved it!!!!

Go to your start menu, on the search bar type in Window mobility center, Click on connect display, After that choose the apparence of you computer click on Duplicate my desktop on all displays.

My operation system is a Windows Vista but Windows 7 should have the same or similiar features.

Pressing the Windows Key + P also brings up a menu to do this.
