Hi everybody,

I am a begginner when it comes to overclocking CPU's. I just overclocked my i5 760 (2,8 ghz) to 3,3 ghz (20x165). Despite what the guide said I left Speedstep and C1E enabled because I get lower temps in idle that way. Everything seems fine, its stable and CPU-Z shows the values I expected. However, when I run 3dmark 11 my scores aren't any better than before I overclocked:

In my opinion the scores should be better because I improved the CPU core speed so much. What can be wrong? (My ram is running at 1320 now instead of 1333)

Would be really greatful for an answear. Thanks!

(Sorry for my crappy english)

Solution
3D Mark 11 is a measure of graphical performance, your CPU performance doesnt have that much of an impact on it except in the Physics scores. You will want to use a dedicated CPU bench-marking tool (all of which escape me right now) to determine the difference overclocking has made.
