Hello guys, I've purchased a SSD 850 Evo a while ago, I migrated the data using the included Samsung software, and it's been working fantastically since then. However after upgrading to Windows 10 I've run into some problems, so I reset my installation and I still have the same problems (Matlab 2015 unable to install because of C++ 2005 redis problems being one), and now I can't restore my I still have my old HDD with me with all the data on it, how can I re-migrate again? How can I format my SSD the proper way to re-clone my HDD?

Thanks

Hey there, Mahmoud.

First you could try updating the SSD's firmware if there are any updates available. If that doesn't help the you can go ahead and make a quick format (never run a full format on an SSD) or use the manufacturer's tool to do a secure erase and then run the cloning process all over again.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.

Thanks a lot for the reply. This is actually the latest firmware available for the SSD. So, I should just connect my SSD as an external and do a quick format? I'll try and tell you, thanks. :)
