I've just received my spanking brand new 300$ samsung lcd from the egg. Happy and just drooling over the thing I opened the package only to find that besides free 3 day shipping (which really turned out to be 5 day and only after I went to the post office to pick up my own package) the etailer thought it would be nice to include a few scuffs and scraches on the panel surface. I am not amused.
I really don't think that despite their reputation they even bothered to check the lcd for faults as the scratches are clearly visible. I don't think I'll even plug in the thing as the scratches are so bad. I'm just gonna have to call them tommorow when their office openes to get a replacement...but wait the return policy states that they only accept lcd returns for dead pixels. So am I stuck with this 300$ lemon? That would really tick me off...
What would also tick me off is them having the audacity to ask me to pay shipping back to them for items that were faulty in the first place.....why should I pay for their mistakes? Nevermind the time I've wasted on this thing already.
Any comments/suggestions?
