Samsung 23A750D 23" vs Benq XL2410T

Hi guys,

I am thinking of buying a new LED 3D monitor for my rig. I'll be mostly gaming and watching bluerays. I have an GTX 570 and hope that the following 2 monitors would be able to fully take advantage of it's 3D vision.

1. Samsung 23A750D 23" (comes with glasses)

2. Benq XL2410T

Both of them costs about the same. I don't really mind about the design or glossiness of the screens as I mostly play in the dark. Which one do you guys think will be better in terms of performance in gaming and blurays in both 3d and 2d.

I think both of monitors are great, but from my experience, SAMSUNG is better than BenQ (Again, this is subjective).

Samsung all the way.

I have a 40" Samsung Series 6 LCD TV and two 22" Samsung LCD monitors and they are all great quality.

Never had a BenQ but I've read that a lot of people have problems with them.

Me too prefers SAMSUNG. The BenQ displays I seen not that good especially for gaming.

DO NOT get the Samsung. It will not work with 3D vision from your graphics card (at least there is no mention anywhere I can find about it supporting Nvidia 3D vision). It uses HD3D technology only. While you might be able to use the Tridef 3D software, I'm not 100% sure that will work either.

If you use a Nvidia GPU, go with the BenQ

If you use a AMD GPU, go with Samsung

hmm.... now that you mentioned it, I have looked all over to find whether it supports 3d vision. I am still abit skeptical about getting the Benq one, maybe I will have to look at other options for now. Maybe Acer....

My monitor is an Acer 3D monitor, but it's 27". It's one of the few monitors I've seen that also supports AMD, but only through HDMI 1.4a, which limits you to 720p at 3D with 60hz, or 1080p at 24hz in 3D. Incidentally, HD3D does work with my Nvidia card, so it's possible you could use that Samsung with Tridef, but not Nvidia 3D.
