Bought this monitor for my new system and noticed something quirky (beyond the OSD operation buttons or lack thereof). When I close my system down...the monitor goes to sleep but then the bacl-light comes on and starts searching for a connection (digital/analog/HDMI. displaying this search in the upper left of the monitor.
I've read the manual and fiddled with the OSD..but cannot figure out if this is the way the monitor is designed to work or if there is a setting I'm missing somewhere.
It's not a big deal to turn the monitor off...but every other other LCD monitor I've had, when Windows shuts down..the monitor goes to black..and that's it. When I would start the computer up..the monitor would awake and start to display.
This is something I'd not expected with the Samsung.
Anyone else experience this?
