good day every body ..
i happen to be having this tv samsung 48ju6000
its a 48 inch 4k tv ..
im hooking this in to my crossfire 290x and im aware of the limitation that 290x cant actually output 4k @60hz but through the display port ..
my question here ..
if i upgraded to nvidia fx 980ti will my tv be able to out put 4k @ 60HZ ? or perhaps if i got one of the display port 1.3 to hdmi 2.0 ? like the one provided by club 3d ..
actually i would love if theres a solution that would save me upgrading any of my parts as im kind of happy with every thing right now .
i just want 60HZ on 4K as i cant game but on 1080P as this is the only resolution im able to enable 60Hz on ...

your help here will really be very highly appreciated ..

thanks to all ..

If your TV has a HDMI 2.0 port then it will be able to output 60hz on 4k. If you're asking if a Displayport 1.3 to HDMI 2.0 adapter would do the job, I've seen many say that it does work but a few others say otherwise. For less than $10 you...
Crossfire 290x to 980ti wouldn't be an upgrade, they would have similar performance. That being said, the 980ti will be able to output 4k @ 60hz through either the HDMI 2.0 port or the Displayport 1.3 port.

cross fire 290x is not enough for 4k ? i was almost maxing all games with a single card on 2K

my concern here is not performance .. i just want 60hz at 4k as 30 hz is really terrible even on desktop ..
will my tv be able to actually output 60hz on 4k ? im not much aware it can or not .. and i would love to stick to my setup if an adapter can give me what im looking for ..
