Hi,
I finally showed my dad the wierdness of my 15" 7 year old CRT (like how it goes from white to yellow every other second) and he agreed that maybe we should get a new crt till I get my LCD. I go text, programming (actually will be doing a lot of that this school year) graphics design, and gaming. I want 17", and my eyes r kinda wierd, so I notice flickering @ 100Hz and sometimes more. The 700ift does 119Hz at 1024x768, and it's flat. Anyone seen this monitor, is it any good? Would it suit my purposes, and does it have good image quality?

Anyone? I need some quick advice, cause this 15 incher is really starting to break up, like it won't work right half the time. Gosharks, anyone?

I haven't had any experience using THAT monitor, but in general, Samsung has some good 17 and 19 inch monitors, mainly the Syncmaster series, imho.

Soon enough, Intel will make the i845s...imagine dual channel Sdram...*shudder*

Hmm, I looked around some more, and noticed that monitor's from '99! Maybe I'll just get a 791sb. Anyone used one of those before (they're brand new).
