SAmsung 830 performance

so i got 2 samsung 256 gb ssd for real cheap they have excellent health and performance check results in 279 MB/s read 260 write 44~45 k random read and 35k random write

but for some reason magician doesnt recognise my drive also i have not noticed any huge performance gain over hdd
With my HDD my boot times were <20 sec now even with ssd my boot times are in 12-15 sec range (also this is a clean install).

p.s. I did not secure erase the ssd instead i let the windows installer (EFI install) take care of formating it is that the reason.

Sounds like you're using SATA II (3gbps) rather than SATA III (6gbps), that drive should be getting >65k read and up near 500mb/s . If you have SATA III and it's still that slow, return the drives because they are nearly dead.

yes as a matter of fact they are in sata II because of stupid design of my mobo and case the only two sata III ports are inaccessible but that still doesnt tell why samsung magician is not recognizing it ? and about health according to ssd life only 5 tb has ever been written on the drive showing 93% health on both drives

As long as they are independent they should show up, but perhaps you might need an older version (~V4) for full compatibility. If they are RAIDed though, it won't work in some cases.
