Samsung 830 vs 840 EVO vs 840 pro vs 850 EVO vs 850 pro ss

Hello there,

I just need a 128 GB SSD but can't decide between Samsung 830,840 EVO,840 PRO,850 EVO,850 PRO.

Any other best SSD of 128 GB with fast performance than above 5 samsung SSD would be appreciable.

850EVO is your best bet. People will not notice the difference with the PRO 850. It is not worth the extra cost unless it on a big sale.

The Samsung 830 solid state drive is an older model from a few years ago that was replaced by the 840 series. The 840 series was replaced by the 850 series. There are a few vendors who might still have a few 830 models in stock. They are all good drives.

I normally recommend Samsung solid state drives. Intel, Crucial, and SanDisk are also worth considering.
