I'm benchmarking my SSD with Samsung Magician, and all results seem to be good except one: random read.

It's usually around 50 000 IOPS, even though it should be over 94 000!!!

Here's a screenshot of the benchmark results:

Here's more information about my system and SSD:

RAPID mode is activated

Here's my hardware:

Is my SSD permanently damaged? Can I do anything to fix it?

Every other measure is way above what it should be. I would not think about it any more, your drive is fine and you are obsessing over benchmarks as many users new to SSDs have a tendency to do. I think those results are fine and you should just get back to what you do with your computer.

Consider the likely possibility that the software is not reporting totally accurate results -- no single 6Gbps SSD reads at 1100MB/s.

I've got a sort of an OCD for these things... I just can't calm down :pfff:

Yes, RAPID mode is enabled. When I disable it performance drops drastically.

However this still doesn't solve my problem - specifically low random read IOPS!

Well, as it has been explained, my results are expected, all of them except very low random read.

I find it quite difficult to ignore. I would like to get to the root of this issue, or get some more confidence that it's not in fact a problem with the SSD or my computer (but it has to be something).

I just built this computer a week ago, so I feel very sensitive over my parts going faulty like this from the very start.
