SAMSUNG 840 EVO 500GB slow down

Hi everyone,
Recently I notice that my SSD is slowing down. Before, the login screen would load before the animation even finish. Now, it will finish the animation and stay for a couple of second before loading the login screen.
I set SSD Magician OS optimization to Maximum reliability.
This is the Crystal Disk Mark result. I hope someone can help me with this problem.

This is the result from Samsung's own SSD Magician. The result is getting worse, and it's not even 1/2 year old. My old Samsung 470 never had this issue before. I'm downloading PCMark 7 as I write this. I'll post the result once it's done.

I have use the guide to optimize my SSD since my old Samsung 470. Never had problem until now.

I have reduced the used space under 50%, but the performance got worse. Compare the result on my first post with my shared screenshot today.

I already set to AHCI since my previous SSD and it's still in that mode.
I connected my SSD to SATA3 port. I tried to move it around other SATA3 ports, still the same.

how long have you had your ssd for, could be its time to RMA it, do you have a mechanical drive if so did you already try to only remove the hdd and leave the ssd alone, boot up windows like that, other than that you can try and check wondows power plan change that

I really don't know what to look for here. The result from PCmark 7 is 6297, the rest are just the spec of my PC.

So after moving around the SATA cable I managed to get the improved speed. However, it is still below the spec. But Samsung Magician benchmark shows 160 Sequential Read?? o_O

I suspect that it might be due to this: http://www.overclock.net/t/1507897/samsung-840-evo-read-speed-drops-on-old-written-data-in-the-drive

seems like the 840/ 840 Evo would have slow read speeds on old files... A defrag might help (yeah everyone says don't defrag an SSD, but it has more than enough life to defrag once every 6 months)...

the 840 (Evo)'s speed would be restored if the files were deleted and re-written again, that's why a defrag would help... (alternatively, you could clone the SSD, secure erase it, and then restore it)
