Samsung 840 Pro problems after reinstall

Hi all,

I reinstalled my system recently and my SSD has never been the same. Boot times are significantly up, benchmarks are being very weird and after running magician to fix it, I still have no solution.

Here are two screenshots, one of the "good health" and one with the very weird benchmarks.

Please note, I have created a 50GB partition for the system and boot apps only and left the rest for other programs.

Help would be much appreciated!

Anyone?

If you have RAPID Mode enabled in Samsung Magician then your benchmark results are normal.

Your system profile says the you have 16GB of RAM. RAPID Mode is using up to 4GB of that as cache. That's why your benchmark results are so high.

Ok, Benchmarks are fine then, awesome.

Why is my boot a lot slower than before (avg 20 secs down).

Is it possibly, my partitioning the drive?

True, I haven't been in there since reinstall. Would be hard to imagine a clean install having as much junk in there by default compared to a 2 year old install with tons of garbage...

Will try though, any little help
