Hello, I am wondering if the TLC NAND will hold up for heavy read cycles. I know the concern is heavy read/writes. Basically building an HTPC with an OS that will play AVI files. It will not be used as a working PC, occasionally (once a week) be loaded with different AVIs. It will be needed to play for 12+ hours a day... Looking for an economical option SSD.

Thanks

There's no limit on how many times a cell can be read on a NAND chip.
The limit is on how many times it can be written to (Program/Erased).

So reading data on an SSD does not affect the drive's longevity.
