Ok so about 3 months ago my SSD started freezing and I ran Magician and saw I had a really high/unrealistic TBW and two things in S.M.A.A.R.T. We're showing as failed. I RMA'd it with Samsung and got a new one. Now after 3 months of use the new one is freezing up and when I ran magician it shows as 140.2 TB's as the TBW. I think I have about 250gb's of stuff on there and I'm fairly certain something is causing the total bytes written to become that high and it's not that I download a lot of stuff.

CPU specs are
I7 7700k at 4.5
32gb ddr4 2400 ram
2 gtx 1070's
Samsung 850 EVO 500gb
Water cooling on CPU
Running on Windows 10

Don't run any torrents and no malware on system. Ran malwarebytes with nothing found. Was also a fresh install of windows both times with nothing transferred from old drive

Well...140TBW in 3 months is something constantly writing to that drive.

For comparison, my 500GB 850 EVO has 9.4TB, in just over a year of 24/7 running time. 185GB used space.

I assumed it has to be something writing to the drive all the time I'm just at a loss at what it could be and how to even figure out what is writing to the drive at all times. Seems like it's writing about 1.5tb's a day and I don't even have my pc in 24/7 I can go days at a time without even turning my PC on.

Task Manager
Processes and Performance. See if that drive is actually being constantly written to, and by what.

So it looks like its MSI Command center which I use to control my fans that's the culprit, at least I assume it is. It's running 3 services when I have it running CommandCenter.exe, MSICommService.exe, and MSICPUService.exe between the 3 of the its constantly Writing about 160,000,000 - 200,000,000 B/sec

Turn it off for a while. See what happens.
