Samsung 850 EVO or Samsung 950 PRO

So for my new computer, I'm going go for an m2 ssd, primarily because its an ITX lanbox and space is a premium. I was just wondering if its worth the $90 to get the 950 pro instead of the 850 evo. Is there a significant performance difference between the two or is there a better third option?

if you mobo support Ultra M.2 (PCIe Gen3 x4 & SATA3) you way to go with 950 pro since its a fast ssd right now that i knew.
and yes the performance will increase.

This is the board I'll be buying. Its a Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 and it does have it listed that it supports PCIe Gen 3 x4 M2 and SATA3 is basically standard nowadays. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5529#ov

I mean, its nice knowing that it is faster but I'm still not really convinced. I plan on putting nearly everything except for windows and any of the things that windows uses on a 12TB Raid0 array so I dunno if its really worth the extra $90 to get a slightly larger M2 ssd that might make windows load faster.

the 950 pro completely demolishes any sata3 ssd that will ever exists. if you have the budget and an nvme board, get the 950 pro for sure.
