Hi everyone. I juat bought a new SSD Samsung 850 Evo 120Gb. When I test speed in the shop where I bought, the speed of which is 550/500 (Read/Write). So then I bring the SSD then plug in my PC using Rampage 4 Extreme. The problem is the speed of the SSD is not similar as I had tested before. I tried to change the Sata gate and have these results following:
1) The two ASMedia Sata 3 gate, the speed is 350/300
2) The two Intel Sata 3 gate, the speed is 500/90
I have checked many guides in Internet about the speed of SSD but nothings change. I guess the problems caused by the Sata Gate. Maybe I plug into wrong gate or I have missed some softwares to gain the speed as I want ? I also have 1 HDD and 1 DVD
Please help me. Many thanks to all of you

Your board has the following headers:

Intel® X79 chipset :
2 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s), red
4 x SATA 3Gb/s port(s), black
Support Raid 0, 1, 5, 10
ASMedia® PCIe SATA controller :
2 x eSATA 6Gb/s port(s), red
2 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s), red

You need to be connected to the Intel 6Gbps headers, which are these:

I'd also make sure you have the latest SATA and chipset drivers, along with the most recent bios version.
