I bought a Samsung 850 pro 256 MB and I have finally after several months ran some performance tests and while the write tests are OK the read tests are incredible poor.
Samsung performance tool benchmark gives me 265 IOPS for random read.
I also ran CrystalDiskMark and for 4k QD32 I have 1MB/s.
I also tried changing the sata port the SSD connects to but still I get the same speeds.
The motherboard used is Asrock H97 Pro4, i5 4460. About the mother board I only found that it has: 6 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s Connectors, ..., Intel Rapid Storage Technology 13 and Intel Smart Response Technology), NCQ, AHCI and Hot Plug
TRIM is used as far as I see.
