Hey guys, i have recently purchased a new Samsung 850 PRO to replace my hdd as a boot drive. I first started off my attempted to install a fresh copy of windows 7 Pro onto it and it was all working perfectly, that is until i attempted to download the initial windows updates. My screen would display "no connection detected" and go into sleep mode and would not come back on. I checked the screen cord to make sure it was connected and then restarted my pc. This is when whenever the windows logo appeared my screen would go black and then my pc would restart instantly. So i attempted to start my pc in safe mode but it ended up just restarting like before. I then gave up and attempted to re install windows completely but it was no use and the same things happened.
I tried several other things over the course of two days but eventually i surrendered and decided to download windows 10 and see if it would fix the problem. Nope, after about 10 minutes after the installation my screen would go black but still act like it had connection, i attempted to Ctrl-Alt-Del but it would not work and now my pc would just freeze at the windows logo. From attempted to run system repair to system restore nothing worked.
Does anyone have any idea on what else i could do to fix this?
