Hello,

I'm getting a 256GB samsung 850 PRO SSD. This is my first SSD, I'll be putting the OS, programs I use for uni and daily stuff and lastly, skyrim (since it loads every 5 minutes or so haha).

I have two questions.
I've been reading about Over Provisioning and I understand it speeds up the SSD a bit and increases its life span. But I'm not sure about how big should the section be? I read from 7% to 12%. But which obviously I want to maximize the usable size.

2nd: Should I keep my antivirus on there or it doesn't matter?

later i'm gonna reconfig my 850 pro 128 to have basically 3 primaries =
1. os/boot
2. apps
3. games
will have all the space sucking areas(browser cache and temp folders and even swap file) on a real hdd to reduce strain on the ssd

got my temp ram on friday(16gig worth til i can get my 64gig set rma'd), and i did a fresh install of win 8.1 on the new 850 pro 128gig i just got. i still have yet to install system drivers and go reg the 16gig ram set with the maker in case i wish to keep them(best to keep them on record for warranty)
