Yes, no since getting a M.2 860 EVO though, if you want the m.2 drive get the 960 or 970 EVO.

but the reason i am confused is that the motherboard's site doesn't include 860 evo in the ssd support list.

on checking other forums i dont find that where 850 evo can be used 860 can't be used but as per this document only 850 evo and 860 pro are allowed.

as i replied to jankerson...
860 evo is not included in the mobo's ssd support list.
Should i still go ahead and take the risk?
