Whoever told you that has absolutely no clue whatsoever.

The Samsung 8XX series is pretty much the gold standard in SATA III SSD's. The 860 being the current iteration of that line.
I have 5 of them in my current system, and others scattered around in other systems.

do you use your for any gaming storage or play, if so, how well does it do other then the standard hdd how much more improvement
My current system is ALL SSD.
Gaming, programming, messing around in here, etc, etc...

SSD's are significantly faster than an HDD. You can absolutely see the difference.
More expensive per GB, but that gap is slowly shrinking.

In 2019 (or 2015, or 2012), I would not consider building a PC without one or more SSD's.

ok thats awesome cause i have around 25000 games and over 70 systems installed on my second hdd, its a bit slow at loading them all when i want to play them so the ssd's will be a great improvement, i'm so excited now, i'm not gonna listen to my cousin anymore i'll come here to get the best advice. thank you so much you advice was soo helpful
