Samsung 860 evo vs Samsung 850 evo which to buy?

Hello everyone i will buy a new SSD but i am in 2 different SSD's the Samsung 850 EVO 500gb and Samsung 860 EVO 500gb. What are the differences between these 2? do they have the same write and read speed? which one should i buy?

The 860 is just a new iteration of the 830/840/850 line.

If you can get it for the same price, get the 860.
Otherwise, get the 850.

the 860 is a bit pricey compared to the 850. Is the 860 a bit faster than the 850?

The performance is minimal between the two and you won't notice it in real world usage, go with whatever is cheaper.

not worth the cost mybe a tad faster in loading games but nothing gamebreaking.

In a blind test, I doubt anyone could tell the difference.

Assuming you get the regular 2.5" SATA III drive, yes.

P55? Remember that while it will work, it will work at the slower SATA II speeds found on those boards. I got rid of my P55 board when I got my SATA III SSD.
