Samsung 950 NVMe PCI-e 4 lane External Enclosure

Does anyone know a 2280 PCI-e to USB SSD enclosure/cable that is compatible with the samsung 950 NGFF NVMe PCI-e 4 lane M Key drive? I want to use the SSD as a fast USB drive.

This has to be one of the dumbest things i've read. I had to triple take.

USB 3 (USB 3.1 Gen1) only supports up to 5gb/s and the new USB 3.1 Gen2 only supports up to 10GB/s. Biggest waste of a 950 Pro ever. Just get a Samsung T3 for use with USB 3 ((USB 3.1 Gen1) or the Sandisk 900 external SSD for USB 3.1 Gen2.

Dumb is a relevant term.

I'm upgrading my computer SSD to a larger one and removing a my 256GB Samsung 950 pro; not buying a new one. I figured I rather use it that toss it to the side.

Also, the Sandisk 900 external tops at 850 MB/s // 6.8 Gbps so that's only 68% of top theoretical speed of USB-c.

I have no practical use for the speed, I'm just exploring ideas and enclosures are fairly cheap.

As far as I know, there are no external m.2 adapters that support nvme yet.
