Samsung 950 Pro is performing very poorly

I have installed a new Samsung 950 Pro 256 Gb into my system; NVMe driver is installed and seems to be working properly. However, CrystalDiskMark only shows 30 / 106 random 4K reading/writing speed and ~15'000 IOPS when reading (should be up to 270'000). It's also strange that writing is much faster than reading.

I have a Z97 motherboard, the drive is installed using a x4 PCIe adapter (I also tried installing it on the motherboard M.2 connector, with similar results).

Looking forward to any suggestions.

Curious if there is any update to this problem. By the way, what performance does Samsung Magician report?

Problem solved with update to NVMe drivers v1.1
