samsung 950 pro not showing in bios

So did a clean windows install, unplugged my 500 gig SSD and 2tb HDD installed windows 10 64 bit on my 950 pro m.2 ( the problem is in the bios ) it don't show the drive or controller for it......... so how do I set it to first boot ? I have installed the Samsung driver for it and it shows in the device manager that its there. but in bios on first boot it only show windows boot manager ?

OS windows 10 64 bit
mobo gigabyte gaming 7
Samsung 950 pro m.2 256
Samsung 850 Evo 500
WD black 2 tb


anyone have or seen this problem ?

Have you tried doing a cmos reset of your mobo. Look in the mobo manual on how to do this.

I guess I can try that , will look into it after I finish setting up my drivers and windows updates

It needs drivers / you have to configure the BIOS first, before you add the drivers, so it appears

Good question. I dont have the same mobo or an NVME. There maybe a video on Youtube somewhere.

There's been 3-4 posts about NVME for different mobos. I dont think any of them managed to boot from an NVME

well I did manage to install windows 10 64 bit on it and I am in windows setting everything up atm ( only only thing is I don't see it in the bios ) its working because atm it the only thing installed my other drives are unplunged

Altho if its installed now it may not work if you change it to raid
