I would really appreciate any help from the community.
I was trying to secure erase the Samsung 960 EVO in my system via Asus ROG's secure erase, but later realized that it was not supported. Therefore, I was looking for Samsung's own solution of Samsung Magician.
Upon running Samsung Magician, a message says secure erase will not work if the drive is the primary. So I created a bootable USB windows 10 and tried to erase the "primary one' as secondary. Now, another message appears that the drive is in frozen state.
Can anyone help with my issue? My purpose is to wipe clean the SSD and start new and reinstall the OS. At the moment, I only have one USB thumb drive and no other hard drive available, and the SSD is the primary drive in my system.
