SAMSUNG 960 NVME ssd very slow performance 900mb/s read write please advice

hello people i recently bought lots of stuff ddr 4 memory 16gb,motherboard gigabyte x99 ud4,
nvme samsung 960 256gb,
cpu i7 6 cores 12 logical.... gtx 1060 gpu.
so my question is
why my ssd samsung 960 nvme have maximum read write speed are 900mbs read write.
I have windows 10 i also use samsung driver.
why my speeds are so slow is my motherboard bad ?
PCI-E 2.0 x2 8 Gb/s (1 GB/s) 6.4 Gb/s (800 MB/s) is it possible my motherboard to be stuck on this mode how i can increase it to x4?

You're getting the correct speed for that motherboards 2 lanes of pcie2 that that motherbd has for its m2 slot.

so motherboard dont have higher speeds???
my only option is to buy some pci express card like lycom ?
can i use my ssd at full speed then?
