[SOLVED] Samsung 970 evo isn't getting detected by mobo

I have a rog strix b 350-f gaming, I cannot find the ssd in bios or disc formatting, and iv'e tried most of the fixes on the related threads.

reset BIOS to defaults, then search every option/sub-option in BIOS for enable/disable NVME M.2, etc... ; certainly, until we can find it in the BIOS, it will not show elsewhere...

According to Asus, the single M.2 slot should support NVME or SATA variants....

After sifting through all the options I was unable to find anything related to NVME or M.2. Should I update my bios?

Updating might not be a bad idea anyway, especially with all of the AGESA updates referenced in the changelogs: https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B350-F-GAMING/HelpDesk_BIOS/

As far as finding any options relating to M.2 of NVME drives, I would suggest checking again under the Advanced or maybe Boot sections in your BIOS. The manufacturers tend to put them under there, whereas you can just skip the other menus.
