Hello, I purchased a Samsung 970 M.2 SSD and it was delivered today.

I have put the SSD into the slot on my motherboard (Asus X99-S) without a problem.

But for some reason I can't find it within the computer. I can see it on my Samsung Magician software and also in my BIOS. But I can't see it in Explorer, which means I can't do anything with it.. (I want to move my OS over to it)

Can someone please help me. I have Googled around but don't seem to be able to find a solution to my problem.

Thanks.

EDIT - Not sure it helps, but I am using a i7-5820K and my MOBO is above^

I updated the BIOS to the latest version to see if it helped. But it's the same.

EDIT 2 - It is not shown under MSinfor32 > Storage > Drives. It only shows my other 3 connected drives. BUT it does show under "Disks"

It doesn't "need" or get a drive letter until after you do the migration thing.

But not appearing in Disk Management is a different problem. And much more concerning.

Can you post a screencap of your Disk Management and/or Samsung Magician?
