[SOLVED] Samsung 970 Evo PLus M2

today I have installed Samsung 970 Evo PLus M2 500gb in my PC.. but it seems to me that it is quite slow in boot mode and when i restar pc.. boot starting is 8-9 sec. and i restart pc take 15 sec. is any bios setting ??
I have i5 9600k + Asus Z390 E Gaming + 16GB Ram DDR4 3000Mhz

8-9 sec...15 sec...is not "slow".
Remember, the BIOS takes its own time to do things. That is NOT influenced by whatever drive type you have installed.

What were you expecting?

Yeah...no. That was not from an actual cold boot.
Getting an actual 5 second boot is complex, and totally useless. You need to strip down and optimize the system to do only that.

I hope that ssd is not defective from the factory. .I've seen a lot of posts where everyone complains about boot speed.. i try all settings in bios but nothing.. I thought maybe I missed something in the bios ... or I have to move it to slot M2_2

Yes, TRIM is good for, and supposed to be enabled for an SSD.

It should have been enabled, by default.

"1" disables it.

Your times seem ok to me, it will depend on your motherboard and cpu.
I suggest that you normally do not boot at all.
Use sleep to ram(no hibernate) instead.
Sleep puts your pc and monitor into a very low power state essentially like power off.
Sleep/wake should be only a handful of seconds.
