Hello,
I'd like to buy one of these NVMe from Aliexpress on 11.11, I already read everything about these SSDs but there's one big difference between them which is (PCIe 1.4 Samsung 980 vs PCIe 1.3 970 Evo Plus).
I could not find anything about this in terms of performance etc.
Is there a noticeable difference between PCIe 1.4 vs 1.3 in performance or drawbacks if I select Evo Plus (which have DRAM)?
My usage is only browsing, MS Office, Movies etc. NO gaming, video editing or lots of file transfers.
Thanks

Make and model of your motherboard and the processor you're working with?

Based on the first sentence in that line, you go for the cheapest possible NVMe, not something premium like a Samsung drive since you won't be able to tell the difference between a high end SSSD in day to day tasks. Booting, sure but everything else that needs to be on the system after the first boot, a mid range SSD could help you accomplish that too.

Asus laptop UX430UAR, Intel Core I7 8550U.

Edit.
I want to buy Samsung because they are reliable as I've used 870 EVO before. Both Samsung NVMe have the same price.
