Question Samsung 990 Pro

Is their a good heatsink for this model? Is anybody running one of these yet?

I do. Just using m2 heatsink provided by the motherboard, z590 tuf gaming. Runs fine.

they claim the new drive is more energy efficient than 980 Pro so anything worked for 980 Pro should be more than enough.

Just checked the ASrock support site for the Z790 Steel Legend, does not show the Samsung 990 in the list. Maybe because it to new.

Nor does my board. Two key aspects of the ssd and compatibility, m2 2280 and gen 4, both of which your board supports.

Between cpu socket and first pcie slot is heatsink for an ssd. Remember to peel off the plastic film before putting it back over the ssd.

There's also another heatsink under last pcie slot. You don't need to buy additional heatsinks. As mentioned above as well 990pro is quite efficient.
