If I had the money/space for a second monitor just for gaming in 3D then sure I'd try it out, but I'll wait for the next gen of OLED VR headsets for way better immersion and 3D even in flatscreen games.

Just to point out since it isn't mentioned at all in the article, the Neo G9 monitors already exist of course, these are minor refreshes of the current monitors. The differences being only two things, a new anti-glare coating, and new features for avoiding burn-in, which does lead to another new addition, a burn-in warranty which Samsung until now has not had despite other brands using their panels having one. I think I'll still wait for the next gen OLED panels, but they're welcome changes.
