I have used Samsung Data Migration before when moving from my Hard Drive to my SSD on Windows 7. However I couldn't upgrade the cloned Windows 7 to Windows 10. So I went back to the Hard Drive upgraded it to Windows 10 and wiped my SSD. I tried to clone my Hard Drive with Windows 10 on to my SSD, it seemed to be working fine but when its finished (I have never actually seen it finsh as it seems to finish earlier then the Estimated time) it pops up with a warning "Cloning failed target disk has been disconnected -00001 (ffffffff)". It seems to clone all the files but the OS seems to be corrupted as it needs Recovery. I have done this 4 times with a Reboot, DeFrag and a new SATA cable but it keeeps happening.

I'm getting a similar problem with migrating a HDD with an upgraded Windows 10 from 7 to an SSD. However I get that message at the start of the migration and when I use other migration software's such as Maxim Reflect and EaseUS I get a message saying there is insufficient space. I'm just going to do a clean install on the SSD as it may take awhile for windows 10 migration to be supported

I tried cloning the OS from 850 1tb pro to 850 2TB evo and at the very start it says "target disk is disconnected". I'm using windows 10 too. So I guess win 10 is stil not supported by Samsung data migration software yet?
