Hi i've recently been putting together a pc consisting of a 5820k, 32GB Crucial 2133MHz RAM etc, and have been informed that there's a shortage of Crucial DDR4 but they can give me 2133MHz Samsung DDR4 I have zero experience with Samsung RAM and wanted Crucial because I know it's received widely positive feedback. Will I still be happy with the Samsung DDR4? I don't really intend to OC the ram but I did have the option to with the other brand. Any help would be incredibly appreciated.

I have never even heard of Samsung RAM before, lol. Which one are you talking about? I wanna see :)

Edit: I got the G.Skill Ripjaws 4 32GB RAM instead because they look cool.

Most ram comes from 3 manufacturers to my knowledge. Samsung, Micron and Hynix and then after market heatsinks/latency modifications are made by different brands. I'm having my PC build because i'm not confident building something that's worth that much haha and the company putting it together only have options of Samsung 2133MHz and Kingston HyperX 2400, 2666 and 3000MHz.

Here's the Samsung RAM. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/samsung-memory-m393a1g40db0cpb

Thanks, I never knew Samsung made RAM until now. There's no cover on it, I think I'll stick with my Ripjaws, lol.

Samsung is the world's largest producer of SDRAM. They're also their own biggest consumer though, a lot of the SDRAM chips that they produce end up in Samsung branded products.
