We have some Samsung displays (model DM55D) that we're using for signage and want to just use USB for the slides, rather than have them on the network. I was able to get it working by simply plugging in a USB drive with a bunch of JPGs, setting the source to USB and then running the media player. However, after a few hours the displays revert to trying to get the content over the network and I can't tell what's triggering that. It's not the end of the "slideshow" - it will repeat over and over for some time then, for whatever reason stops and goes back to the network connection.
Anyone know how to set it to have a slideshow playing from the USB as the default source, or any other way to have it default to content that doesn't come from the network. The manual refers to MagicInfo but that's sold separately and these monitors don't have it.
Thanks!
